Join us in Messina, a 1920’s Parisian Jazz club, for “Much Ado About Nothing.” As soldiers arrive from the Great War, the people of France are ready to celebrate, rebuild and redefine social norms. Prohibition, occurring in the United States, is just a blip of international news in Paris, where pre-war values are tossed aside. Jazz is fashionable, and luxurious parties are thrown by the elite at every opportunity. People come to dance, celebrate and drink. It is a “new age” and Messina welcomes all!! Cut to just 90 minutes of fast paced action, Shakespeare on Clark’s production of William Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing is filled with love, (some who love to hate, some who love for love’s sake), and compassion; after everyone comes to their senses; in one way or another: “Some Cupid kills with arrows, some with traps.”
This performance will be held in the courtyard. In the event of rain, the performace will continue as scheduled, however, it will be moved to the Black Box. Food will be available for purchase, please no outside food or drink.

Well-Strung, a string quartet features classical musicians who put their own spin on the music of Mozart, Rihanna, Adele, Vivaldi, and more! Well-Strung performed in Batavia during our 2nd season, and is the most requested group to make a return appearance on the BFAC stage. We have an exclusive with the gentleman from Well-Strung for 75 miles around Batavia for their newly formed Christmas show. They are creating this show due to our initiative. We went to them a year and a half ago regarding the creation of this type of show and again last October. In December of 2014 they got back to us with an affirmation that they would be creating a Holiday show and Barbara Streisand’s director would be directing it. They have granted us an exclusive for this performance, which means nobody else in our market will have this Holiday show.
