Music and Performance Art evokes and expresses emotion and long before our pandemic conditions, this show was conceived to convey and inspire a variety of feelings through dance while exploring the art of dance for both the performer and viewer…. Then the world changed. These students have encountered many emotions along the journey of this show where uncannily the final concert artistically and realistically captures a reflection of the times we live in, (even though the music was chosen well over a year ago). It shows perseverance through restriction, sacrifice, and adaptability, both large and small, as well as the dedication of “the show must go on” spirit entwined with holiday joy. Join DE at the BFAC to acknowledge the many “elements of emotions” we all are experiencing and should support and honor one another with, along with the work these young performers have achieved in the most trying of times.
