The Batavia Fine Arts Centre is accepting proposals for their permanent collection.


Each year visual artists pursuing a career in the arts and graduating from Batavia High School or practicing artists who have graduated from Batavia High School, may submit proposals for artwork to be purchased by the Batavia Fine Arts Centre as part of their permanent collection. Proposals may include any medium and may be site-specific, but not required. All artwork must be installation-ready and must include all hardware. The Batavia Fine Arts Centre reserves the right to reject accepted work that is inadequately prepared for installation.

To Apply:

All entries shall be submitted electronically. Applicants should be currently working in the arts, or a practicing artist currently active in the arts or planning to pursue the arts in the future. The Batavia Fine Arts Centre will accept up to 2 works.

Timeline:

All entries are due by May 1 of each year by completing this form. Accepted work will be announced by July 1 of each year. Accepted and contracted work must be delivered by August 1 of the same year, unless detailed within the application.
