A Holiday Celebration of the timeless story of The Nutcracker with a wide array of music, including parts of Tchaikovsky’s original score, variations on the score as well as other holiday and representational music, providing a variety of fun, toe tapping tunes, spectacle and glitz for people of all ages.
Also celebrate the local dancers and performers that make-up DancEncounter, who dance on the shoulders of 3 decades of predecessors. DancEncounter has turned thirty years old and honors all who have contributed to this feat, by continuing the bi-annual Nutcracker tradition, only this time, for the first time ever, with a twist!
