Batavia High School will host the INCubatoredu@BHS Final Pitch Night on Monday, May 16th at 6:30 pm in the Black Box Theatre inside the Batavia Fine Arts Centre. A tradeshow of all competing teams will run from 5:30 pm until 6:15 pm in the BFAC lobby.
Pitch night is a dynamic event where student entrepreneurship teams present their final business concepts before a panel of industry experts in a competition for funding. The winner(s) of pitch night are awarded access to funding and a chance to compete for additional funding dollars at the National INCubatoredu Student Pitch competition in the summer.
Students present their business concept to the Board, thereby creating market awareness for their young business and potentially gain funding for the future development of their product or service. Pitch night is the culmination of a year-long academic program and is both inspiring and exciting for all who attend.
