Deep in an enchanted forest, two young travelers awaken to a world of shimmering Fairies, playful Fawns, and a wise Fairy Queen who showers them with blessings — and a solemn warning: never open the mysterious Golden Chest hidden in the woods. Curiosity, of course, wins out. From within the chest emerges the terrifying Dark Shadow Queen and her minions of Pride, Greed, Envy, and Wrath, until grace and hope arrive to save the day. Featuring our gifted student performers alongside distinguished professional guest artists, and set to sweeping music by Grieg, Prokofiev, Elgar, and more, “Pandora’s Box – The Lesson” is a dazzling, family-friendly celebration of the timeless triumph of good over evil.
